The Umbran Portal Kick is a technique that summons a portal under Bayonetta or Jeanne. After the portal is summoned, the user will dive into it, shortly appearing in the air and then crashing back to the ground while posing, damaging all close enemies. It is performed by pressing, and holding the dodge button and holding Kick during the initial dodge (before Break Dance is triggered).
This move is especially useful in fights against Kinship when missiles are fired, as the first few frames of the move provide invincibility. [1][2]
It is also especially useful when fighting against a weakened Sapientia in the whirlpool.
