Bayonetta Wiki
Infernal Kiss

Infernal Kiss an action that Bayonetta, Jeanne, and Rosa perform upon the completion of non-optional Chapter Verses (excluding those that end with a boss fight or cutscene) in the first game, Bayonetta. By blowing a kiss, these Umbra Witches send a trio of heart-shaped projectiles at their target, an otherwise impassible angelic seal. This opens a small portal to Inferno that shatters the seal.

Bayonetta, Jeanne, and Rosa can blow kisses at the opponent at any time with a press of the Lock-On button. This does not deal with damage, but it does unsettle the target, interrupting its actions.

Other variations[]

Heart Shot[]

Heartshot 2

In Bayonetta 2, a variation of Infernal Kiss can be used that is known as "Heart Shot." This allows Bayonetta, Jeanne, and Rosa to shatter barriers by launching several bullets at them, in a heart-shaped formation but only on demon barriers.

  • While Little King Zero can also perform Infernal Kiss, he does not do so in the same fashion as Bayonetta, Jeanne, and Rosa.
  • Rosa's revolvers, Unforgiven, have long barrels. As such, the bullets she launches when performing Heart Shot in Bayonetta 2 are fired from the middle of the weapon.
