Dead End ExpressDead End Express is a titanesque chainsaw-like weapon in Bayonetta 3. Housing the essence of an Infernal Demon, a living train called Wartrain Gouon, Dead End Express acts similarly to the past weapons of Salamandra in grinding its multiple blades against enemies for massive damage.

Like other Bayonetta 3 weapons, Dead End Express cannot be mixed with other weapons due to being treated as a set.

In-Game Description[]

A chainsaw-like weapon created by the Infernal Demon Wartrain Gouon from his own parts, with spiked wheels that spin at high speed.

Weighing more than a ton, it is impossible for a normal human to wield but its sheer mass combined with the energy generated by its spinning wheels create terrifying destructive power.

In addition to its use as a weapon, it can also be straddled and used as a vehicle.

When this weapon is used in tandem with Demon Masquerade, the user merges with Wartrain Gouon, gaining his steel body and unstoppable force with every inch of their body becoming a deadly weapon.

Design[]

Dead End Express looks like a miniature steam locomotive with a full smokestack, headlight, etc. The weapon has a handle on the back and has tubes that can be used for better gripping. The outer shell of the train is black with golden details while the wheels are red and gold with sharp grey teeth. There are multiple rows of wheels, two of which unfold forwards when the weapon is swung. When the weapon is being ridden the handle on the back opens up and spews flames like a jet engine. When equipped, instead of butterflies, Bayonetta's steps and jumps generate orange flames at her feet.

How to Obtain[]

Dead End Express is automatically obtained upon completing Chapter 6, along with its Demon Slave equivalent, Wartrain Gouon.

Unique Traits[]

All clear, all clear! Roll out! Don't think you can stop THIS train! ― Bayonetta executing Dead End Express' Masquerade Rage

Like the G-Pillar, the Dead End Express is strong but slow; however, it incorporates several dashing attacks into its combos, making it more effective against clustered enemies and enemies that move quickly.

Pressing Shoot will have Bayonetta fire off a massive, slow moving saw wheel at her enemies. Like its melee attacks, the saw blade can also be charged for extra damage but charging for too long will cause the attack to backfire.
