Not really
I have no complaints about the weapons, and I never even used the beam sword in the first game.
Most items you can just unlock regulary or look up how on the wiki.
Never played as Rosa so I don't know about her.
Although I do agree with Rodin being overpriced. At the same time he was always like that and also it makes sense because he's a demon and probably the only one in this buisness. But pretty sure it wouldn't kill him to be bit more cheap.
